Thayer is Vice President and Director of Commercial, where he directs the sales, leasing, development, and management for Berkshire Hathaway, Commonwealth.
Thayer works with companies enabling them to achieve their real estate objectives, through tenant representation, lease negotiation, sale-leasebacks and purchases of office, retail and industrial sites. He also works with commercial property owners from all over the country on building their real estate portfolios through investments and developments.
Thayer places his real estate wisdom and passion for life into his everyday business, helping to make clients more comfortable with the real estate transaction as they make significant investments in their businesses.
Thayer has consistently for the past twenty-four years been recognized as a valued and trusted commercial resource and a major contributor to the overall success of Berkshire Hathaway. Thayer has successfully negotiated over 600 commercial real estate transactions, totaling over 26 million square feet of office, retail and flex space with a transaction value well over 1 Billion dollars.
